 2024 Problem

Have you heard about the 2024 problem in logistics?
The 2024 problem in logistics is primarily a reform of the way we work.
This reform will take effect on or after April 1, 2024, and will limit the annual overtime limit for driving operations, which also involves truck delivery operations, from the national average of
2,100 hours to 960 hours.
Overtime hours for regular non-truck workers are
720 hours. The difference in overtime hours between truck drivers and non-truck drivers is 240 hours.

However, it is possible that overtime hours for truck drivers will also be limited to 720 hours in the future.

In other words, by 2024, the work style reforms will be implemented and the cap on working hours will be lowered, which means that unless we do something about the "labor shortage" by 2024, we will not be able to deliver goods by truck as we have done in the past.

Logistics challenges are serious.
